2026 Faculty Awards Program

The Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce the Call for 2026 Faculty Awards. Please consider nominating yourself or deserving faculty from CELA member institutions in good standing for awards in the following categories. Click each award below for specific award requirements and judging rubrics:
- Excellence in Design Studio Teaching (Early Career or Full Award Level
- Excellence in Teaching (Early Career or Full Award Level)
- Excellence in Research and/or Creative Work (Early Career or Full Award Level)
- Excellence in Service Learning (Early Career or Full Award Level)
- Outstanding Administrator
- Outstanding Communications
- Outstanding Educator

Once received, The CELA Awards Committee and a panel of independent jurors will review applications and make recommendations to the CELA board before the early bird registration window closes. The committee, in any year, may choose not to bestow an award. The CELA president and the awards chair shall present recipients with a certificate at the Awards Ceremony during the 2026 Conference. Award winners are expected to register and attend the Awards Ceremony at the 2026 Conference.
