Membership in the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture is available as two options: Institutional (for organizations) and Corresponding (for individuals). Institutional Membership is offered at three levels based on the organization’s ability to meet specific criteria. Consult the checklist below to determine which level is appropriate for your institution.

CELA memberships run Nov. 1, – Oct. 31 and pricing differs between each type of membership.
Requirements:
- Within the U.S. you must be a school, department, program or curricula in Landscape Architecture accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board. (LAAB)
- Outside of the U.S. you must be a school, department, program or curricula in Landscape Architecture accredited by the specific in-country accrediting organization OR have more than three full-time equivalent faculty in Landscape Architecture education.
*Schools, departments, programs and curricula which are eligible for Full Membership may join CELA as Full members only.
A school, department, program or curriculum in Landscape Architecture with three or more full-time equivalent faculty assigned to Landscape Architecture education, and not otherwise eligible for Full membership.
An education institution, public or private corporate, professional society, or other organizations participating in, concerned with or interested in Landscape Architecture education, and not otherwise eligible for Full or Associate membership.
Corresponding Membership Level:
Individuals and students interested in Landscape Architecture education and not otherwise eligible for Full, Associate or Affiliate Membership.
International Membership Level:
An education institution, public or private corporate, professional society, or other organizations participating in, concerned with or interested in Landscape Architecture education, located outside of the United States and not otherwise eligible for Full or Associate membership.
