The Colorado River, vital to the Southwest, faces a climate-driven drought threatening Arizona’s water supply. This talk shares insights from our “Colorado River Conversations,” updates current conditions, and explores paths toward sustainable, cooperative water management.
Speaker:
Kathy Jacobs, UA Environmental Science professor and Director of CCASS, has decades of leadership in climate and water policy. She’s held key roles at ADWR, the Arizona Water Institute, and the White House, and currently chairs a National Academy panel on water-energy issues. She holds an MLA from UC Berkeley.
