The CELA Annual Conference offers the opportunity to present and exchange ideas which impact the earth through the tenets of landscape architecture including, but not limited to, environmental design, art, science, communication, architecture, historic preservation, planning, sociology, justice, health, design thinking, construction management, engineering and related disciplines, in addressing global issues through design professions. The wide range of track themes are sure to challenge and inspire attendees.
Our Conference logo was designed by Erika Bullock. The graphic depicts the Sandia Mountains in the background and the Rio Grande River in the foreground. Plants in these regions are especially tough and resilient and so she decided to depict yucca and Big Sage in the graphic. As a nod to the conference theme, she has shown 100 plants on one side of the river and one plant on the other. The warm earth tones paired with the mint sage greens were reflective of the native New Mexico landscape.
In a time unlike any other, we look forward to gathering virtually to connect, collaborate and learn together in March!
