CELA 2025 Conference Call for Abstracts Now Open
Conference Theme: Processes + Impacts
CELA invites submissions for the 2025 Annual Conference, March 27-29, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. This year’s conference theme is ‘Processes + Impacts’. We seek abstracts that explore the complex interplay between design processes and their resulting impacts on people, places, and the environment.
Submit Your Abstracts – THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO September 30, 2024 – 11:59 pm (Author’s Time Zone)
Step 1 – Go to the link: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/76089/submitter. If you created your Oxford Abstracts account last year, log in using your Email and Password. If you have not created an account, use “New to Oxford Abstracts? Create an account” button to create your account.
Step 2 – Review the Submission Guidelines to learn more about the submission and review process. When you are ready to submit, click “NEXT” at the bottom of the page to start your entry.
Step 3 – Complete the form with your submission (questions marked with * are required). And click “Submit”. If you receive a warning that says “Submission incomplete”, please fix the missed blanks and submit again.
Please note: Authors of all accepted abstracts must be registered for the 2025 CELA Annual Conference by January 31, 2025. Registration for the 2025 CELA Annual Conference will open in December 2024.

CELA relies on peer review to ensure the quality and rigor of the conference. To make it easy for reviewers to sign up, we provide two options:
- If you are submitting an abstract, the last question in the submission form allows you to choose the CELA Tracks you would like to review. Just follow the “Submit Your Abstracts” instructions and you will see this question after you entered your abstract.
- If you are not submitting an abstract but would like to serve as a reviewer, please fill out this form to sign up. https://form.jotform.com/242114731505143
