CELA Academy of Fellows Through the Years

The purpose of CELA’s Academy of Fellows (AoF) is to recognize outstanding landscape architecture educators and advance CELA’s mission. Members of the Academy represent the highest level of achievement within the CELA membership and has been bestowed upon select members since 2006.

Individuals are elected based upon their exemplary contributions to landscape architecture education, research, and service, and to the CELA. Honorary Fellows are faculty from non-CELA member schools or other individuals making exemplary, sustained, and consistent contributions to landscape architecture education and scholarship at a national or international level.

The CELA Academy of Fellows supports research and academic advancements in landscape architecture through the annual research poster competition, the Lifetime Achievement lecture, and conference workshops.

The Academy of Fellows annually donates to support the Fellows’ activities, such as Keynote Sponsorship. To donate to the Fellows Annual Fund, please click here. To mail a check payment, please make it payable to CELA and mail it to CELA, PO BOX 844540, Boston, MA, 02284-4540, and add Fellows Fund to the memo line.
